This course focuses on the role of lipoprotein(a) and its therapeutic options for patients with cardiovascular disease. A review of the science of Lp(a) and its relationship to cardiovascular risk will be discussed. Emerging therapeutics to reduce Lp(a) will be examined. How to apply currently available therapies will also be discussed. The material of this lecture will provide crucial information for healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.
